The park is home to several notable rides suitable for adrenaline junkies and thrill seekers. The ‘Kamikaze’ is the biggest slide in Portugal measuring over 100ft (36m) high it takes a mere 4 seconds to plummet to the bottom. Slightly less intimidating is the ‘Hydra’ a more traditional water chute with a long corkscrew section.
A less usual ride is the ‘Banzai’ which sees riders hurtle down a 23m slide sitting on skim board before shooting across the surface of the pool at the bottom. For the less brave there are plenty of other activities ranging from a large outdoor swimming pool to a wave machine. The Flying Carpets also provide family fun and slightly less adrenalin as they snake their way down the long tubes on rubber rings and there’s also a semi-Olympic swimming pool for a good swim under the watchful eyes of lifeguards.
Younger children have plenty of choice too. "Children's Paradise" has two children’s pools, lots of smaller slides, castles, fountains and various animal figures. For the youngest ‘Rainbow Park’ is a colourful fantasy world of mini-slides, showers and giant crayons.
Set amongst landscaped gardens there are plenty of facilities such as food stands and cafes. There is also a small on-site shop selling everything you forgot to bring with you such as sunscreen and towels.
