Overview

Villa Scarlet is beautiful, contemporary two plus one bedroom villa with an 'upside down' layout and offering some of the most spectacular views of the Ria Formosa and the ocean beyond that you will find in the local area. This stunning property has a lift spanning all three levels and is located in the Salinas area of Quinta do Lago- only a stones throw from the Ria Formosa boardwalk, which is excellent for nature and exercise lovers. Guests staying at this property have access to the gated communal pool facility which is directly across the road from the villa.

Villa Scarlet also benefits from a private parking space which is close to the lower level entrance of the villa so provides easy access to the villa when with shopping bags or luggage. There is air conditioning throughout and fibre optic Wi-Fi both included in the rental rates.

Living Areas

On the upper level of the villa is the open plan lounge and kitchen. As soon as you reach this level you will be astounded by the unspoilt views of the Ria Formosa. This air conditioned area has been tastefully furnished with comfy sofa seating, a flat screen Smart TV showing wide range of cable channels, including Sky Sports, BT Sports, BBC and ITV (please bring your own log-in credentials to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime etc), a media desk and a quiet seating area with two chairs.

The air conditioned modern kitchen is complete with a breakfast bar and six accompanying stools and is well equipped with appliances including four gas hobs, an extractor, Smeg kettle & toaster, fridge freezer, dishwasher, juicer and an electric oven. A door leads to the BBQ and outside dining area. There is also a guest cloakroom on this level.

On the lower level of the villa you will find the air conditioned gym area which is complete with an exercise bike, a bench press and free weights. The utility room on this level houses the washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. There is also another guest cloakroom on this level.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

All the bedrooms are found on the ground level. Bedroom one is the air conditioned master king-size suite with a dressing area, a safe and an en suite shower room with double vanities. Patio doors lead to a enclosed balcony with concertina shutters that completely open up, furnished with a double day bed and a chair, this balcony also has a shower.

Bedroom two is a double room with air conditioning, fitted wardrobes and an en suite shower room with a heated towel rail. Patio doors lead to a Juliet balcony.

The third 'plus one' air conditioned bedroom has a single pull-out bed which can accommodate either 1 or 2 children or 1 or 2 adults. This bedroom uses the adjacent shower room with a heated towel rail.

Outside Space

The dining balcony on the upper level has an outside kitchen area complete with a built-in gas BBQ, an extractor and a fridge. There is a large dining table that is shaded and has seating for six people, there is a further seating space with sofas and chairs which fully enjoy the amazing unspoilt views of the Ria Formosa sand dunes and water inlets. This area has an electric awning that provides shade if needed.

The communal pool is across the road from the villa and has gated access. There is a nearby communal gate which provides direct access to the Ria Formosa pathway - perfect for nature and exercise enthusiasts.

Location

Villa Scarlet is located just a 5 minute walk from the Quinta do Lago lake where you will find The Shack restaurant and a water sports centre. Within a short walk you can also visit restaurants such as Casa do Lago, Bovino, Unami, The Campus, 2 Passos and the beach is a 20 minute walk. Also within close driving distance are a selection of internationally renowned golf courses- Laranjal, Quinta do Lago North and South, San Lorenzo and Pinheiros Altos. The Bougainvillea Plaza with designer boutiques and eateries, is a 5 minute drive away and the airport at Faro is only a 25 minute drive away. Villa Scarlet is also just a short walk from the Ria Formosa nature reserve with its maze of canals, islands, marshes and barrier islands, stretching 60kms along the Algarve coast, between the beaches of Manta Rota and Garrão.
