Since 1980 the Antiche Tenute Squarcialupi have been owned by the Targioni-Bojola family, who with great commitment and passion follow an organic viticulture, produce wines of great territorial expression and work with special oenological techniques such as drying the grapes, sparkling wine, vinification in absence of sulphites and aging in terracotta amphorae.
Palazzo Squarcialupi has been completely renovated and with the hospitality and professionalism of its staff, offers its visitors a unique experience.
From the oldest vineyards at an altitude of 600 m, on the hill south of Castellina in Chianti, balanced wines are obtained with fruity and floral aromas, characteristic of the "Squarcialupi" line.
The vineyards adjacent to the town that descend from the South-West slope produce the grapes for the "La Castellina" line, distinguished by an imprint of international vines, which bring body and notes of overripe fruit.
Going further down, at an altitude of 350 m there is the locality "Ricudda", a natural basin exposed to the South which produces organic wines of great territorial expression.
