Solar Real is an impressive nine-bedroom manor house with a private pool (which can be heated for an extra weekly supplement), located on the Western side of the Algarve, this magnificent property is perched on the cliffs of Ferragudo near Carvoeiro and faces west over the bay of Lagos and towards Sagres. The view of the peaceful bay and the Algarve coastline is truly unique and second to none. The property has a lift that can be switched on upon arrival for the moving of luggage, however, it is then switched off during your stay for safety measures. The property’s original furniture has been restored, and the bedrooms have been refurbished in a more modern style but retain the original beds, which incorporate the family coat of arms.

The large dining room has a main oval dining table with seating for eight people and two further circular tables also seating eight people. Triple patio doors open onto a large terrace overlooking the harbour with breath taking views. The reading/games room is complete with sofa seating and has patio doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the pool and the coastline. There is a breakfast room, just off the kitchen, which is normally used for children’s meal times. The drawing-room has ample comfy sofa seating, an organ, and triple patio doors to the large terrace.
The kitchen has a central island and is fully equipped with appliances including two dishwashers, two fridge freezers, and a further separate fridge and a separate freezer, a large electric oven, five gas hobs, Delta coffee machine, filter coffee machine, microwave, countertop oven, juicer, blender, two kettles, and a magimix. Patio doors open to a small terrace with a charcoal BBQ. Off the kitchen is a recycling area with domestic and recycling rubbish bins. The garage houses the table tennis table for all your family tournaments. The TV room has seating for twenty-one people and a flat screen TV showing international cable channels (including some English language channels). Patio doors open onto the garden. There is a chapel with a small dressing room for the vicar. There is also a guest cloakroom near the front door. The utility room houses two washing machines, an iron and an ironing board.
Bedrooms one to four are on the ground floor. Bedroom one is a twin room with split unit air conditioning, a wardrobe, and an en suite full bathroom. Bedroom two is a double room with split unit air conditioning, a wardrobe, and an en suite full bathroom. Patio doors open onto a balcony overlooking the pool and the coastline. Patio doors open onto a private balcony with countryside and harbour views. Bedrooms six & seven are ideal for children. Bedroom six is a small twin room with split unit air conditioning. Patio doors open onto a balcony with amazing sea views, a dressing room with patio doors to a balcony divides bedrooms six and seven. Bedroom seven is a twin room with split unit air conditioning and an en suite full bathroom. Bedroom eight is a double room with split unit air conditioning and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Patio doors open onto a large balcony with comfy outside sofas and chairs and amazing views of the countryside and coastline. Off the upstairs landing are further patio doors leading to a large terrace.
Downstairs on the lower level of the villa is bedroom nine which is a large room with three twin beds, fitted wardrobes, a safe, a dressing room with a patio door to the poolside, and an en suite full bathroom.
There are various terraces where you can escape and read a book. The swimming pool overlooks the bay and has fantastic views of the coastline and measures approximately 12.5m x 5m (which can be heated for an extra weekly supplement). There is also a pool cover to help retain the heat at night. The maximum depth is 1.40m and has built-in steps at the shallow end. There are sixteen sun loungers to soak up the glorious Algarve sunshine, a downstairs bar with a sink and a fridge and toilet, and a poolside shower. There is a huge dining table with ample bench seating.
Located on the Western side of the Algarve, the house is perched on the cliffs of Ferragudo. It faces West over the bay of Lagos and towards Sagres and the setting sun. The view is of the peaceful waters of the Algarve coast and yachts making their way from the marinas and of fishing boats passing in front of the house. Across the wide estuary is a distant view along Praia da Rocha beach that is well known to the many visitors to the Algarve region of Portugal. Please be aware, located 500m away over the water is the Praia da Rocha Marina.

The rental price includes cleaning service 5 days a week, during weekdays, excluding bank holidays. Linen is changed every 7 days and towels are changed twice a week. Pool towels and hairdryers are provided for your convenience.
Prices quoted are per villa per week. Please note where your holiday dates cross multiple price bands the total holiday price is calculated per day per price band.
The rates quoted for 2025 bookings are based on 2024 rates and are subject to final confirmation around Oct / Nov 2024 (but could be later) when contracts are signed.
There is a local tourist tax for all visitors to Carvoeiro Area.

Persons 13 years and over for the first 7 nights.
This tax is payable by the visitor, however it is collected by Sun-hat Villas & Resorts with the final accommodation balance and passed by our local agents to the local authorities.
