Overview
Quinta Fernando is a beautiful refurbished property set in the countryside village of Gorjoes within Santa Barbara de Nexe, that offers an exquisite blend of comfort, space, and style. Located behind elegant black iron gates, the property welcomes guests into a spacious courtyard, offering ample parking for several vehicles. A charming cobblestone path leads to the front door, set within potted plants, conifer trees, palms and vibrant oleander, creating a picturesque setting for this beautiful property. The property has a private swimming pool which can be heated for a weekly supplemental charge. With air conditioning and wi-fi internet throughout included in the rental rates.
Living Areas
This two storey home is furnished and equipped to the highest standards and features air conditioning throughout, ensuring a comfortable stay. On the ground floor is the spacious, open plan living and dining area which features a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV with an Apple TV box- please bring your own log-in credentials to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime etc on the smart TV. There are a selection of DVDs and board games available for your entertainment. The dining area is furnished with two large dining tables.
A fully equipped open kitchen, complete with a combi-oven and grill, induction hobs, integrated microwave, two fridges, freezer, dishwasher, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, milk frother, ice cream maker, sandwich toaster, Nutri Bullet, juicer and washing machine. A social bathroom is adjacent to the kitchen with washbasin and toilet.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Air conditioning in all bedrooms. On the ground floor is the super-king double bedroom with double wardrobes and an en-suite shower room. Bedroom two is a twin bedroom which can be configured as a super king-sized double bed upon prior request, and includes an en suite shower room. Bedroom three is a king sized double bedroom with a small private terrace and features an en suite bathroom with a corner bath and separate shower unit.
On the first floor of the property is the fourth bedroom which is a versatile room with a super king-sized bed that can be configured as a twin upon prior request, and it includes an en suite bathroom with both a shower and a bath unit. Please note that this bedroom is not suitable for young children or people with mobility issues due to the staircase leading to the bedroom.
Outside Space
From the lounge, patio doors open to a covered terrace with comfortable rattan seating, providing a serene spot to relax and enjoy breathtaking views of the countryside, also on the pool terrace there are additional sofas for relaxation. A couple of steps from the terrace is the impressive 10m x 5m swimming pool, with can be heated for a weekly supplement, whilst the garden has plenty of lawn area it also offers outdoor activities such as a football net, table tennis, and below the lawned area is a large trampoline, perfect for the energetic members of the family. There is a Weber gas barbeque for your outdoor dining and a Green Egg charcoal BBQ.
Location
With its peaceful countryside surroundings and ample outdoor space, Quinta Fernando offers a truly exceptional stay for guests seeking a relaxing holiday. Gorjões is a quaint hamlet in Santa Bárbara de Nexe. The passage through the town is narrow with typically Portuguese restaurants, stores, coffee shops, a gas station, and a couple of banks. Nearby is the Quinta das Raposeiras Padel and tennis centre, just a five minute drive away.
Other Items
Maid cleaning service is weekly, bed linen is changed once a week, bathroom towels are changed midweek and weekly. Pool towels, hairdryers and a safe are provided for your convenience.

Prices quoted are per villa per week. Please note where your holiday dates cross multiple price bands the total holiday price is calculated per day per price band.
The rates quoted for 2026 bookings are based on 2025 rates and are subject to final confirmation around Oct / Nov 2025 (but could be later) when contracts are signed.
There is a local tourist tax for all visitors to Faro and Surrounding Area.

Applies To
Persons 16 years and over for the first 7 nights.
This tax is payable by the visitor, however it is collected by Sun-hat Villas & Resorts with the final accommodation balance and passed by our local agents to the local authorities.

1 loaf sliced bread, 250g butter, 1 litre semi-skimmed milk, 1 bottle white wine, 1 carton orange juice, 10 tea bags, 10 sachets of coffee, 2 x 1,5 litres water, 1 bottle lemonade, 25 sachets sugar, 250g ham, 250g sliced cheese, 4 pieces seasonal fruit, 4 tomatoes, 6 eggs 1 large pack of crisps, 1 x jar of jam and 1 packet of biscuits. For a vegetarian option we will replace the ham with an additional pack of cheese.
