Quinta Palacio is an imposing, stately manor house situated in the countryside of Vale d'Eguas, within close driving distance of the town of Almancil and the prestigious Golden Triangle golf resorts of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo. This impressive property has two separate houses on the estate, both featuring characteristic period furniture and decor throughout. With a total of 9 bedrooms, the property sleeps up to 19 persons in total- and is therefore perfect for large family groups looking to relax and unwind on their villa holiday in the Algarve, in unique and luxurious surroundings.
House One:- Comprehensively equipped kitchen with 2 dishwashers; Nespresso coffee maker; gas hobs; oven; fridge; freezer; ice maker; additional drinks fridge; toaster and kettle. Dining table and 8 chairs, and doors leading to the main reception room with Bluetooth speaker so you can play your own music from your smart device. Wi-fi internet is available throughout the property.
House Two:- Living room with wall mounted TV with an IPTV box with a wide range of English language channels including BBC, ITV, Sky Sports and BT Sports and this room also has an en suite bathroom (with bath and shower). Kitchen and dining area complete with washing machine, fridge, oven and electric hobs. Iron & Ironing board.
House One:- Bedroom one is a double room on the ground floor of the first house, complete with split unit a/c, doors to the poolside terrace and an en suite with bath and separate shower unit. Bedrooms two and three are on the first floor- bedroom two is a twin bedroom with a fan and an en suite bathroom with shower over. Bedroom three is the master double suite, with split unit a/c and an en suite bathroom with bath and separate shower unit. There is also an additional guest cloakroom in this house.
House Two:- Bedrooms four and five are upstairs from the living room. Bedroom four has a double bed, split unit a/c, Juliet balconies and an en suite bathroom. Bedroom five has a double bed, fan and an en suite bathroom.
Bedrooms six and seven are on the ground floor of house two. Bedroom six is a family room sleeping three persons and with 3 single beds- although 2 twins can be prepared as a double upon prior request. Fan and patio doors to the terrace. Bedroom seven is a twin bedroom with a fan, doors to the terrace and bedrooms six & seven share the use of the adjacent family bathroom with bath and separate shower unit.
Upstairs from bedrooms six and seven are the final two bedrooms. Bedroom eight has twin beds, a fan and Juliet balconies. Bedroom nine has a double bed, fan and Juliet balconies- this double bed can be separated upon prior request. Bedrooms eight and nine share the use of the adjacent bathroom with shower and bath. On this level patio doors lead to the terrace with beautiful countryside views.
Quinta Palacio benefits from a superb, large swimming pool that measures 14 x 7 metres and can be heated. The poolside terrace is furnished with sun loungers, parasols and the Gas BBQ the exterior dining area will be the scene of many al-fresco family meals. Surrounded by spacious gardens, the big villa plot has a real tranquil countryside feel. There is plenty of space for parking on the villa forecourt and a table tennis table is available for those family tournaments.
Quinta Palacio is located in the beautiful area of Vale d'Eguas, close to the town of Almancil and within a 10-15 minute drive of the prestigious golf resorts of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo. Guests staying at this unique property will be able to experience living in a countryside environment with the local Portuguese people as neighbours, yet you are still within close distance of a wide range of amenities and holiday attractions.
Within walking distance from the villa are a couple of local restaurants and there are a selection of good value restaurants to choose from in Almancil, a town where you will find supermarkets, banks, chemists, shops, bars and restaurants.
It is only a short drive from the villa to the prestigious golf resort of Quinta do Lago, where five golf courses, fine restaurants, the fashionable Quinta shopping centre and some of the Algarve's most beautiful beaches can be found in this area. Heading north from the villa in the direction of Loule, a busy Portuguese town with a weekly market, you are also approximately 10 minutes away from the brand new Mar shopping centre, which has a wide range of shops, eateries, an outlet shopping centre and cinema.
The location of the villa gives access to the whole of the southern coastline of Portugal with scores of golf courses and visitors attractions within easy driving distance -there are 11 first class/championship golf courses within a 15/20 minute drive, and also tennis clubs, horse riding, go-karting and much more!
Rates include a maid cleaning service 3 x per week, bathroom towels (changed midweek and weekly) and bedroom linen (changed weekly). Pool towels and hairdryers are provided for your convenience. Pool heating is available on a weekly charge.
Prices quoted are per villa per week. Please note where your holiday dates cross multiple price bands the total holiday price is calculated per day per price band.
The rates quoted for 2025 bookings are based on 2024 rates and are subject to final confirmation around Oct / Nov 2024 (but could be later) when contracts are signed.
There is a local tourist tax for all visitors to Quinta do Lago.

Persons 16 years and over for the first 5 nights.
This tax is payable by the visitor, however it is collected by Sun-hat Villas & Resorts with the final accommodation balance and passed by our local agents to the local authorities.
