Sun-hat are proud to present Villa Gaivota, a newly renovated, contemporary four bedroom villa with a private swimming pool, poolside jacuzzi, a table tennis table and tennis/pickleball court.

Ideally situated on an elevated plot, the large garden catches the sun all day long and has an amazing outside space. The owners of this stunning property have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The interiors have been thoughtfully designed in neutral shades and provide a calming and relaxing ambience.

Villa Gaivota is located within walking distance of Trafal beach, and only a short drive from the resorts of Vale do Lobo, Quarteira and Vilamoura. Conveniently, Lidl supermarket and the well known Marufus chicken restaurants are just a 2 minute drive away or a 10 minute walk.

Due to the elevated position of the pool area which has a rope cord parimeter, this property is not suitable for children under 8 years of age. Air conditioning, Sonos system throughout, and Wi-Fi internet are included in the rental rates.

Living Areas

Steps lead up to the entrance of this beautiful property. The bright, air conditioned lounge, dining area & kitchen are flooded with natural light and comfortably furnished with ample sofa seating, a flat screen Smart TV with an LG soundbar showing a wide variety of English speaking channels including the popular channels BBC, ITV, Sky Sports and TNT Sports (please bring your own log-in credentials to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime etc) and a wooden dining table with seating for eight people.

The kitchen with a central island and breakfast bar with four accompanying stools is well equipped with all the appliances you'll need during your stay including five electric hobs, a dishwasher, toaster, kettle, juicer, cafeteria, a large fridge and a separate smaller freezer, an air fryer, and an integrated electric oven, grill and microwave. The utility room is found near the front door and houses the washing machine, iron and ironing board. There is also a guest cloakroom near the entrance.

Just by the front door, a staircase leads up to the dedicated entertainment room—an ideal space for both relaxation and fun. Here, you’ll find a table tennis table alongside a large wall mounted flat screen Smart TV, complete with an LG soundbar and offering the same selection of channels as the main lounge. A small bar area with two stools adds a sociable touch, perfect for unwinding with a drink while enjoying a game or film. The room also benefits from lovely views across the surrounding countryside, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

All four bedrooms are air conditioned and have patio doors that lead to the garden.

Bedroom one is a double room with a 1.80m x 2m bed, a dressing area with fitted wardrobes and a safe. It features an open plan bathroom with a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower.

Bedroom two is a twin room with two 0.90m x 2m beds, fitted wardrobes, and an en suite shower room.

Bedroom three is a double room with a 1.80m x 2m bed, fitted wardrobes, and an en suite shower room.

Bedroom four is a double room with a 1.80m x 2m bed, fitted wardrobes, and use of the adjacent shower room.

Outside Space

The true centrepiece of this stunning villa is its exceptional outdoor living space, designed for relaxation, entertaining, and making the most of the beautiful surroundings.

From the lounge and kitchen, patio doors open directly onto an inviting upper terrace and landscaped garden. Here, you’ll find areas of lush lawn alongside a shaded dining spot with a table, chairs, and bench seating—perfect for leisurely breakfasts or evening drinks. For added enjoyment during your stay, pétanque and croquet sets are provided—perfect for relaxed afternoons in the garden and a bit of friendly competition with family and friends. The jacuzzi offers an idyllic retreat: sink in with a glass of wine as you take in sweeping countryside views or watch the sun dip below the horizon.

Steps lead down to the impressive pool and BBQ area, where outdoor living reaches another level. The fully equipped outdoor kitchen caters to every culinary mood, featuring both a gas and a traditional charcoal BBQ's, as well as a gas paella ring with a selection of paella pans. Beside it, a high table with four stools creates a sociable space for pre-dinner drinks. Under a charming wooden pergola, a large dining table comfortably seats eight—an ideal setting for long, relaxed al fresco meals. Alternatively, unwind on the comfortable L-shaped sofa with a good book and a cool drink.

The generously sized swimming pool measures approximately 13m x 11m is a standout feature, complete with a central wooden walkway and easy access steps. An outdoor shower provides added convenience before or after your swim. Surrounding the pool, the terrace is furnished with ample sun loungers and a luxurious double day bed, inviting you to soak up the sunshine in style.

From here, further steps lead down to the tennis and pickleball court, where bats and balls are provided—perfect for a friendly match or a bit of energetic fun in the sun. This outdoor space has been thoughtfully designed to offer something for everyone, whether you’re seeking relaxation, entertainment, or unforgettable moments with family and friends.
