Overview

A two bedroom townhouse at the Four Seasons Country Club in Quinta do Lago offers excellent, well-appointed accommodation set in beautifully landscaped gardens. The Club, with its unique, friendly and relaxing atmosphere, appeals to all ages, whether one is looking for a sporting, family, leisure or relaxation holiday. The magnificent clubhouse and the extensive range of facilities available make this the ideal choice for whatever type of holiday you choose.

The Club´s 96 suites are designed in the traditional Moorish style typical of much Algarve architecture with white-washed walls, arranged in clusters and nestling in attractive landscaped gardens of sub-tropical flowers, shrubs, waterfalls and rockeries.

There is a choice of one or two bedroom suites, or two bedroom split level (duplex) townhouses all with furnished terraces and patios designed to give maximum privacy. Two bedroom split level townhouses are on two floors with the living, dining and kitchen areas together with one bathroom being located on the ground floor and two bedrooms and two bathrooms located on the upper floor. Access to the upper floor is by a staircase. The spacious interiors are tastefully furnished and fitted to optimum stardards. Two bedroom suites sleep a maximum of 6 guests.

All properties have a dual air-conditioning/ heating system which in winter is enhanced by the natural warmth and flames of a pellet burning stove. The suites are also equipped with two safes, direct dial telephone for incoming and outgoing calls, and a computerised security system.

Living Areas

Each suite has a large, comfortable L-shaped living room opening out into a modern, fully-equipped Mièle Kitchen with crockery, cutlery, glassware and essential domestic items provided. Kitchen units are by Edwin Loxley of Nottingham and the Miele appliances include an oven, hobs, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer, juicer and coffee maker.

All suites have satellite television with a wide range of English language channels including Sky Sports. DVD and CD player, and wi-fi internet connection. Off the living area is a balcony which comprises 4 sun loungers and table and chairs for six.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Two bedroom townhouses sleep six, with the use of the sofa beds in the living area. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are located on the upper floor, and there is a shower room on the ground floor for the clients using the sofa beds in the living area. Bedrooms are beautifully furnished with ample cupboard space, trouser press and complemented by a luxury bathroom decorated with traditional Portuguese tiles and marble fittings.

Outside Space

Patio doors in the apartment allow access to the furnished terrace, giving ample opportunity for relaxation and meals ‘al fresco’.

Location

Located on the edge of the beautiful Ria Formosa Nature Reserve. Miles of golden sands and the Club’s superb facilities complete the picture.

Golf

Four Seasons Country Club guests benefit from preferential rates and guaranteed starting times on the Quinta do Lago South and Quinta do Lago North courses which are just a 500-metre walk from the club. Pinheiros Altos and San Lorenzo are one kilometre away, Laranjal is nearby and there are eight more courses of high calibre that are within easy driving distance of Four Seasons Country Club. Play on all of these courses can be booked through the sports office at the Four Seasons Country Club.

Other Items

Membership of the Club for the duration of your stay enables you to take advantage of the exceptional facilities which include the Clubhouse bar, restaurant and terrace café. There’s a choice of the magnificent outdoor pool (heated as necessary from March to October), heated indoor pool, whirlpool bath and steam rooms. The club boasts a beauty salon and a state of the art health and fitness centre with an excellently equipped gymnasium. Classes are also available on most days of the week and the club has on-site personal trainers. There is also a billiards and snooker room, television lounge and business centre with Internet access.

All types of sports enthusiasts are catered for at Four Seasons Country Club. Two squash courts are contained within the clubhouse as well as a snooker room. Within the grounds are two all weather tennis courts and two padel courts all of which benefit from floodlights for play later in the day. Alongside of these is a 5-a-side football pitch with FIFA approved synthetic grass. Adjacent to this area is a two lane synthetic grass lawn bowls facility. Located near to the clubhouse and pool areas are a putting green and chipping green. Alongside this is the practice ground of Quinta do Lago golf club. Nearby there are water sports on the lake and the sea, horse riding, go-karting and fishing.

FSCC have recently installed an outdoor Gym area which is allocated close to the bowling green, there is also a newly built bike shed with hire bikes which is located at the entrance to the club, guests can hire the bikes directly from their sports office.

There is also a creche facility, minimum age is 18 months (Monday to Friday, local charges apply) and children’s play area, located adjacent to the Tennis Clubhouse and courts. A babysitting service is available, The Club offers an excellent venue for children's birthday parties.

The club provides a daily maid service (except on Portuguese Bank holidays). Cots, high chairs and stair gates can be requested at no additional charge.
