Overview

Westhaven is a two-storey luxurious beachfront villa located on the world renowned Gibbes Beach; a white sandy beach lapped by the calmer blue Caribbean warm waters on the West Coast of Barbados. All four bedrooms at Westhaven have en-suite bathrooms. Westhaven offers you privacy, peace and everything you need to for a relaxing holiday with near-perfect weather throughout the year.

Lush gardens usher you through a gateway opening onto the pool deck with a gorgeous view of the sea. The shimmering pool is surrounded by sun loungers with a trickling water feature in tune with the soothing sounds of washing waves. Loungers can be taken down to the seashore through the private direct access to the beach. Serene, crystal-clear waters beckon you to swim, snorkel, and take advantage of several water sports activities. Gibbes Beach meets Mullins Beach to the north, allowing for romantic strolls or brisk walks.

Living Areas

For entertainment, the comfortable living room on the ground floor is outfitted with a flat-screen television, complete with cable. This area opens onto the expansive patio—just the spot for sipping cocktails while admiring a superb sunset. The kitchen’s large window opens outwards to the dining area, making it convenient to serve meals, snacks, and refreshing beverages throughout the day. Even partake of a scrumptious meal on the pool deck al fresco, prepared by the villa’s chef.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Master bedroom; king, en-suite bathroom with shared patio. Bedroom two; twin, en-suite bathroom with shared patio. Bedroom three; twin with en-suite bathroom. Bedroom four; twin with en-suite shower room.

The bedrooms, which have outdoor patios, air conditioning, and en-suite bathrooms, are all located on the first floor, except for one situated on the ground level. The master, also equipped with cable television, and 2nd bedroom suite share a balcony overlooking a magnificent view of Gibbes Bay. The smaller balconies of the third and fourth bedrooms offer lovely views of the garden.

Amenities

Amenities include; air-conditioned bedrooms, hair dryer, WiFi, pool, security system, ceiling fans, BOSE wireless speaker, writing desk, security (12 hours), water sports by request*, garden, DVD player, cable TV, safe and BBQ.

Location

A mere 5 minutes away is the historic little town of Speightstown, with the most delightful and casual restaurants tempting visitors with their authentic Caribbean cuisine and sea vistas. Don’t forget to check out the Gallery of Caribbean Art and Arlington House, a 'must-see' interactive museum with audio-visual features of 'Old Barbados'.

Our local house managers offer a comprehensive premium concierge service. The wide range of excellent services available include airport transfers; pre-stocking of grocery items at your villa; dining reservations; arrangement of well-being services including spa bookings, private massages, manicure/ pedicures; personal trainers and acupuncture; organisation of golf and tours; baby equipment rental; babysitting; floral arrangements and much more. Other Items

Housekeeper, chef (three meals) and nightly security, from 6pm to 6am.

Please note that after arrival, the local management company will ask you for your credit card details and the Security Deposit of $1000 will be debited accordingly. Any damages or breakages, or additional charges such as concierge, will be charged to this credit card and an invoice raised accordingly. The security deposit, or any balance thereof, will be held until 14 days after departure and then refunded accordingly.

Guests are not permitted to use P20 sunscreen, which can cause irreparable damage to linens that is not visible until laundered. Please be aware that it is the responsibility of guests to ensure that their sunscreen does not contain P20. The property manager does advise that guests will be charged up to $50 per damaged towel or up to $300 per damaged sheet or coverlet.
