Overview
Apartment Ocean is an outstanding three bedroom apartment in Vale do Lobo, situated close to the Tennis Centre and as the name suggests, the ocean. This contemporary, designer dwelling boasts many luxury features and is just a short walk from the beach. With electric shutters, Wi-fi internet connection and air conditioning throughout included in the rental rate.
Living Areas
Featuring glass, natural wood and quality soft furnishings, Apartment Ocean has a unique appeal. The apartment is air-conditioned in the living room, dining room and bedrooms. Steps from the entrance level lead down to the comfortable open-plan lounge/dining room has cable TV with a wide range of channels including English language channels BBC, ITV, Sky Sports and BT Sports; Apple TV, a DVD player and patio doors that open onto a wooden decked balcony which provides the ideal atmosphere for an ‘al fresco’ meal.
If you prefer to eat indoors, the dining area is also delightful. The hi-tech kitchen features all modern amenities including a microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, washer/dryer, 4 electric hobs, extractor, kettle, toaster and juicer.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Sleeping accommodation comprises three bedrooms. Bedroom one, on the entrance level, has twin beds and an en suite bathroom with shower unit.
Bedrooms two and three are on the living room level. Bedroom two has a double bed with adjacent bathroom with shower unit. Bedroom three is the master bedroom complete with Superking bed, en suite bathroom with double vanities, double wardrobes and double patio doors to the terrace.
Outside Space
There is a large area of decking on the poolside terrace, accessed via the living room and master bedroom patio doors. The shaded terrace houses the gas BBQ and exterior table and chairs. The poolside terrace is furnished with 2 sun loungers. The private plunge pool measures 9 x 2 metres- perfect for taking a dip to cool off during the hot Summer months!
Location
Situated close to the Tennis Centre and a short walk to the beautiful Dunas Douradas beach where the popular and stylish Maria's restaurant is located- and just a short walk along the coast takes you to the Julia's beach where there is a selection of trendy restaurants and bars.
Other Items
Rates include a midweek maid cleaning service and bathroom towel change and a weekly changeover clean, bathroom towel and bed linen change. Pool towels and a hairdryer are provided for your convenience.
Apartment Ocean is a VDL club member property and guests staying at this property can purchase the resort cards from reception providing they have been organised prior to arrival at the villa- again please contact us for further details regarding this.

Prices quoted are per villa per week. Please note where your holiday dates cross multiple price bands the total holiday price is calculated per day per price band.
The rates quoted for 2025 bookings are based on 2024 rates and are subject to final confirmation around Oct / Nov 2024 (but could be later) when contracts are signed.
There is a local tourist tax for all visitors to Vale do Lobo.
Cost
EUR2.00 per person per night
(EUR1.00 in low season, 1st Nov - 31st March)
Applies To
Persons 16 years and over for the first 5 nights.
This tax is payable by the visitor, however it is collected by Sun-hat Villas & Resorts with the final accommodation balance and passed by our local agents to the local authorities.

Food pack contents are as follows:- Sliced bread 1 loaf; Butter 250g; Semi-skimmed Milk 1 x 1 litre; White wine 1 x bottle; Orange Juice 1 x carton; 10 Tea Bags; 10 Sachets of Coffee; Water 2 x 1.5 litres; Lemonade x 1 bottle; Sugar x 25 Sachets; Ham 1 x 250g pack; Sliced cheese 1 x 250g pack; Seasonal fruit 4 x individual pieces; Tomatoes x 4; Eggs x 6; 1 large pack of crisps; 1 x jar of Jam; 1 x pack of biscuits. For a vegetarian option we will replace the ham with an additional pack of cheese.
